reEmbed is a service making it easy to apply custom video players to YouTube Videos.

Step One:

Drag the YouTube widget from the Muse widgets social library onto the page canvas. Enter your own settings into the widget or leave them as they are if you are just testing the widget.

Drag the reEmbed widget onto the page canvas and place the widget just over the top corner of the YouTube widget, this is not essential, just for neatness.

The widget applies the reEmbed styling to all YouTube instances on the page.

Click on the reEmbed widget options and click the "GO TO reEmbed WEBSITE" link.


Step Two:

Signup for a reEmbed account which is freemium so they will place a small watermark on the video which in most cases is not a problem and certainly not for testing the service.

The service offers useful analytics as well as restyling tools, take a look at the service it really is excellent.

You can have one player on the free account so if you are setting up the service for a client I suggest setting up a reEmbed account for them that allows you to keep your account for development and testing.


Step Three:

Creating a player style is easy, click on the players option and and then create a new player. Use the simple on-screen options to create your player.

Next, name and save the player.


Step Four:

Finally, to use the player in Muse go to the players section of your account and click on the install player button. Choose the "HTML" option and copy the script.

Go back to Muse, open the options on the reEmbed widget and paste the code into the input box. Now preview the widget.
